T-shaped groove square box is a commonly used precision fixture in mechanical processing, inspection, and assembly processes. It is made of high-strength cast iron (such as HT250, HT300) as the core material, and is processed by resin sand molding, high-temperature melting, artificial aging, or vibration aging, and then precision grinding. It has high strength, high stability, and excellent deformation resistance, and can maintain structural accuracy under long-term load-bearing and complex working conditions.
From a structural perspective, the T-shaped groove square box is shaped like a cube or rectangular box, with all six faces precision machined. The flatness error of the upper and lower working faces can be controlled within 0.02mm/m, and the perpendicularity error of adjacent faces does not exceed 0.03mm/m. The surface roughness reaches Ra0.8 μ m, providing a reliable reference surface for workpiece positioning. The core design highlight lies in the multiple T-shaped slots distributed on the workbench, with slot width and spacing precisely customized according to different specifications (common slot width is 8-30mm). It can be used to quickly fix various irregular workpieces with T-shaped bolts, pressure plates, top tightening devices, etc., especially suitable for drilling, milling, marking and other processing scenarios of irregular parts.
To ensure long-term accuracy, the T-shaped groove square box needs to undergo 2-3 aging treatments after casting to completely eliminate internal stress and avoid deformation caused by temperature changes or mechanical vibrations. Some high-end models also undergo quenching treatment on the working surface, with a hardness of HRC45-50, significantly improving wear resistance. When in use, the level can be calibrated by leveling the bolts at the bottom, or multiple square boxes can be combined to expand the support area or achieve multi-layer workpiece processing, with strong flexibility.
Thanks to its precise positioning performance and stable structural characteristics, T-shaped groove square boxes are widely used in fields such as mold manufacturing, automotive parts processing, and aerospace equipment assembly. They serve as both a support platform for heavy workpieces and an auxiliary tool for precision inspection, playing an irreplaceable role in improving processing efficiency and ensuring product quality.
