Steel V-shaped frame

Steel V-shaped frame, also known as V-shaped frame, cast steel V-shaped iron, etc., is mainly suitable for the inspection, marking, calibration, and clamping of precision shaft components in mechanical processing. It is an important auxiliary tool in platform measurement.

The steel V-frame is manufactured according to JB/T8047-95 standard and made of tool steel. The difference from other V-frames is that the steel V-frame comes with cover bolts, which can fix its workpiece in the V-groove and prohibit shaking.

Steel V-shaped frames are mainly used to place circular workpieces such as shafts, sleeves, disks, etc., in order to find and draw the centerline. Generally, V-shaped frames are made of two pieces, and the flat surfaces and V-shaped grooves of the two pieces are ground out during one installation. The parallelism and perpendicularity error between the dimensions of the precision V-frame and its surfaces are small. The centerline of the V-groove must be within the symmetrical plane of the V-frame and parallel to the bottom surface, because the top of the steel V-frame is equipped with fixing bolts for clamping the bow frame, which can firmly clamp the cylindrical workpiece on the V-frame and flip it to various positions to draw lines. This makes it more convenient to use.
