Cast iron circular platform is a commonly used circular reference measuring tool in mechanical inspection and processing. It is made of high-quality gray cast iron HT200-HT300 as raw material, and is formed by sand casting or resin sand casting. The internal stress of the casting is eliminated through natural aging (2-3 years) or artificial aging to ensure structural stability and prevent deformation.

The surface of the platform is precision ground and the flatness error is strictly controlled: the platform with a diameter ≤ 1000mm is ≤ 0.05mm, the platform with a diameter of 1000-2000mm is ≤ 0.08mm, and the surface roughness Ra value is ≤ 1.6 μ m, which can provide high-precision reference for the detection of circular workpieces. Its structure is mostly box shaped, with radial or circular ribs at the bottom, which not only ensures the load-bearing capacity (up to 500kg/m ²), but also reduces the overall weight, making it convenient for handling and installation.

Widely applicable scenarios, it can be used for flatness and perpendicularity detection of circular workpieces, marking and assembly of circular parts, and can also serve as a basic platform for rotating workbenches. When in use, the platform should be placed on a flat foundation and leveled with adjustable bolts at the bottom (with the level bubble centered) to avoid affecting measurement accuracy due to tilting.

Attention should be paid to daily maintenance: avoid heavy objects hitting the surface, and rubber pads can be laid for protection; When idle for a long time, it is necessary to apply anti rust oil and cover with moisture-proof cloth; Regularly clean the surface with alcohol to remove oil stains and impurities. Under reasonable use and maintenance, its service life can reach more than 10 years, making it an indispensable basic equipment in mechanical manufacturing.
