Cast iron inspection platform

The cast iron inspection platform is a basic measuring tool used in the field of mechanical manufacturing to detect the accuracy of workpieces. It is made of high-quality gray cast iron (HT200-HT300) as raw material, formed through sand casting or resin sand casting processes, and subjected to aging treatment (natural aging for 2-3 years or artificial aging) to eliminate internal stress and ensure structural stability.

The surface of the platform is precision ground and the flatness error is strictly controlled: the small-sized platform (1000 × 750mm) is ≤ 0.05mm, the large-sized platform (2000 × 1500mm) is ≤ 0.1mm, and the surface roughness Ra value is ≤ 1.6 μ m, providing a high-precision reference surface for testing. Its structure is mostly box shaped reinforced plate, with bottom bars distributed in a grid pattern, ensuring rigidity (with a load-bearing capacity of up to 500kg/m ²) and reducing self weight for easy handling.

Widely applicable scenarios: It can be used to inspect the flatness and perpendicularity of workpieces, calibrate the accuracy of measuring tools, or serve as a benchmark for precision part assembly. When in use, it should be placed on a flat foundation and the platform should be leveled by adjusting the bottom leveling bolt (with the level bubble centered) to avoid affecting the detection data due to tilting.

Attention should be paid to daily maintenance: avoid heavy objects hitting the surface (rubber pads can be laid for protection), apply anti rust oil and cover with moisture-proof cloth when idle for a long time, regularly clean the surface with degreased cotton dipped in alcohol to ensure measurement accuracy. Its service life can reach more than 10 years and it is a key equipment for quality control in mechanical processing.
