Purpose of granite platform: Granite Reference Plate is suitable for various inspection work, as a reference plane for precision measurement. It is used as a benchmark for machine tool mechanical inspection and measurement, to check the dimensional accuracy or behavioral deviation of parts, and to make lines. Granite Reference Plate is also an excellent basic tool in mechanical manufacturing.

What technical requirements are needed for the use of granite platforms

① If you want to set threaded holes (or grooves) on the 0-level and 1-level granite platform surfaces, their positions should not be higher than the working surface. (Technical personnel need to debug)

② Granite Reference Plates should be made of fine-grained, structurally dense materials such as gabbro, diabase, granite (biotite should be less than 5%, elastic modulus should be greater than 0.6 × 10-4kg/cm2, water absorption rate should be less than 0.25%), etc. The working face hardness should be greater than 70HS.

③ The maximum allowable value for the surface roughness Ra of the granite platform working surface is 0.32~0.63um, and the side surface is 10um.

④ Flatness tolerance of granite platform working face

⑤ When using the diagonal or grid method to test the flatness of the platform working face, the fluctuation of the gas plane and the fluctuation of the working face plane should be checked. (All of these are essential knowledge for factories and operators)

Appearance and surface quality requirements and inspection methods for granite platforms

Newly made marble and granite slabs should be labeled with the manufacturer's name, accuracy level, specifications, and number. The granite platform working surface should have uniform color, no cracks, dents, or loose organization, and should not have scratches, abrasions, or other defects that affect the accuracy of the marble slab. The sentence structure of granite slabs in use has the above-mentioned defects that do not affect accuracy.

The accuracy verification method for granite platforms adopts electronic level and torsion spring comparator for testing.

3、Accuracy level

The standard accuracy levels include Class 000(1.5μm),Class 00(3μm),Class 0(6μm),Class 1(12μm),etc.The accuracy decreases with increasing size.
