C-type clamping plate

The C-type clamping plate is a kind of tooling fixture or testing tool with a"C"-shaped appearance.With its unique open structure,it can conveniently clamp or position workpieces,playing an important role in mechanical processing,assembly and quality inspection.

In terms of structure,the main body of the C-type clamping plate is a frame similar to the letter"C".Both sides are parallel clamping surfaces or detection surfaces.The opening width is designed according to the size of the adapted workpiece.The opening size can be changed by adjusting screws,bolts and other components to adapt to workpieces of different thicknesses or diameters.The working surface is usually precision machined,with small flatness and parallelism errors.Some C-type clamping plates used for detection have a working surface accuracy of up to 0.01mm/m,which can be used as a reference surface to judge the dimensional deviation or form and position error of the workpiece.

Material selection should be combined with the use scenario:C-type clamping plates used for clamping workpieces are mostly made of high-strength cast iron(such as HT250)or alloy structural steel(such as 45#steel),which are aged to enhance rigidity and avoid deformation during clamping;those used for precision detection may be made of alloy tool steel(such as Cr12),which are quenched to improve hardness(HRC55-60)and wear resistance,ensuring long-term use accuracy.

In terms of function,the C-type clamping plate has both clamping and detection functions.When clamping,put the workpiece into the"C"-shaped opening,and tighten the adjusting parts to make the working surfaces on both sides fit the workpiece to achieve stable fixation,which is especially suitable for temporary clamping of flat or cylindrical workpieces such as plates and pipes;during detection,use the standard opening size of the clamping plate to compare with the workpiece,or use a feeler gauge to measure the gap to quickly judge whether the thickness,diameter and other dimensions of the workpiece are qualified.For example,when detecting the thickness deviation of stamping parts,qualified workpieces should be able to be smoothly put into the opening of the clamping plate and the gap is within the allowable range.

C-type clamping plates are widely used in sheet metal processing,auto parts assembly,mold debugging and other fields.Because of their simple operation and strong adaptability,they can effectively improve the efficiency of workpiece positioning and detection accuracy,and are common auxiliary tools in production lines.
