Unlike Adjustable Welding Tables that focus on workpiece adjustment, this platform prioritizes the stable clamping and precise alignment of fixture components during their fabrication, serving as a critical tool in fixture manufacturing workshops.
The structure of a Fixture Welding Platform is built around a heavy-duty base, typically constructed from HT350 gray cast iron or D28 low-alloy steel 经过 artificial aging treatment to eliminate internal stress. The working surface undergoes precision grinding to achieve a flatness error of ≤0.04mm/1000mm, providing a reliable reference plane for fixture assembly. While adjustable tables adapt to workpiece orientation, fixture welding platforms provide a stable, high-precision (high-precision) foundation for building the fixtures themselves—their grid of holes and dowels replacing the need for frequent repositioning. They are also typically larger (common sizes 1500mm×2000mm or 2000mm×3000mm) to accommodate the assembly of complete fixture systems.
Practical applications of Fixture Welding Platforms are centered on fixture manufacturing and repair. In automotive fixture shops, they are used to weld body-in-white fixture components, ensuring the locators and clamps match CAD dimensions within 0.03mm; in mold repair facilities, they aid in rebuilding worn fixture bases, restoring their original precision. They are also essential in custom fixture production, where one-off fixtures for complex parts require stringent dimensional control to ensure interchangeability with production lines.
