Quality Inspection Method for Standard Cast Iron Platforms

The cast iron platform is manufactured according to the T7974-1999 standard, and is made into ribbed plate and box type. The working surface of the cast iron platform can be rectangular, square or circular, with materials HT200-300, QT400-600, ZG15-45. The working surface of the cast iron platform adopts scraping and grinding technology, and can be processed with V-shaped, T-shaped, U-shaped grooves, dovetail grooves, circular holes, long holes, etc.

Method for testing the flatness of cast iron platforms:

1. The flatness of the working surface of the cast iron platform shall be inspected by spot method within a 25mm square area. For grade 0 and grade 1 cast iron platform points, there must be no less than 25 points, grade 2 cast iron platform points should be no less than 20 points, and grade 3 cast iron platform points should be no less than 12 points.

2. Cast iron platform plane fluctuation: Place the plane fluctuation meter on the working surface of the cast iron platform, move the plane fluctuation meter along any straight line direction, and the movement distance should be half of the diagonal length of the cast iron platform and not less than 200mm. Take the difference between the value and the small value on the indicator table of the plane fluctuation meter (with a division value of 0.001mm) That is, the planar fluctuation of the working surface of the tested cast iron platform.
